Hello there! Welcome, welcome! It's a beautiful fine spring day here in Wisconsin. The snow has begun to melt, and my tulips and daffodils are coming up despite the pile of snow still on the garden.
I have a pretty flowery wreath to share today along with an amazing trick I just learned to help in placing your foliage exactly where you want it.
Blessings of Home is one of my favorite stamp sets in the catalog and I am so sad to see it retire. The flowers and dies pair perfectly with the Dainty Delight bundle so I used both of them on this card.
Measurements for this card:
- Card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
- Inside and outside panels - 4 x 5 1/4
Here's a comparison of the flowers. The ones on the left were shaded with Petal Pink, the ones on the right were shaded with Crumb Cake. I also realized while looking at this photo, that I didn't add shading to the embossed panel on the left card, but I did on my original. I think the shading makes the embossing stand out a bit more and adds a tiny bit of vintage flair to it.
I hope you enjoyed this little project. This is definitely a trick I will be using again.
I hope you have enjoyed today's post. If you decide to place an order through my website, if your order is less than $150, please use the Host Code listed above (on the right), so I can send you an extra free goody. If your order is over $150 don't use the code as you get to pick out the goody yourself when you place your order.
Till next time...
God's love and blessings!
