C&C- A Flowery Anniversary Card

Today we are finishing up this month's Cocoa & Crafts Class with a pretty anniversary card. It just takes a little bit of stamping, some paper shaping and then glue it all down. Easy peasy! Let's get started.

There really aren't any measurements for this project as it's simply a half sheet of cardstock folded in the middle. Here's a list of supplies for you if you didn't get my Cocoa & Crafts kit:

I really do hope that it is much warmer when this posts than it was when I recorded the video, and on a side note, I did find out who the extra leaves belonged to and got them to her. 😊

Till next time...

Cocoa & Crafts #4 Project #3-Easy "Stained Glass" Heart

In today's Cocoa & Crafts class we will be working on this easy version of the stained glass technique. Traditionally, this technique requires cutting the same die in multiple colors and then piecing in the various inside pieces much like a puzzle.  This die set comes with flower silhouettes that can be stamped with the corresponding stamps and then placed atop the flowers on the heart. This would make it easy to have green leaves and multi colored flowers. However, since they are the same size as the flowers on the heart, they can also be placed behind the outline and you get a similar effect as the stained glass technique with a LOT less work.

I hope you enjoyed this project. I am having fun finding different ways to use the new Blending Brushes. I also like that this card could be used for quite a variety of occasions, from a simple "I miss you" card, to "get well", "thinking of you" or even a sympathy card. Lots of different options with this sentiment.

If you didn't order my Cocoa & Crafts kit, you can still craft this card along with us. Here are the supplies you would need:

C&C 4 Project #2-A blended heart

Brrr. As I write this, we're expecting some pretty cold temps for the next week so it is the perfect time to stay inside and make some cards. You could whip out quite a few of these in a short period of time, but don't forget to take some time to write something inside and send them off to someone and make their day a little more special.

The measurements are pretty simple as there are only two pieces to this card, not counting the little hearts. The Mossy Meadow piece is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, and the white piece is 8 x 5 1/4, scored at the 4 mark.

Here's the supplies I used to make this card:

Don't forget that Sale-a-Bration is going on now, till the end of this month (February). You only have a couple weeks left to get any of those awesome freebies! And, if you do place an order under $150 make sure to use the Hostess code listed above so I can send you even more freebies. :o)

Till next time...stay warm, and God's love and blessings to you!

Cocoa & Crafts #4 Project #1

Hello there, February. Where did you come from so quickly? Well, since it is February, we're going to highlight the Always In My Heart stamp set for this month's Cocoa & Crafts class. Today we're making a pretty little treat box.

If this project looks familiar, it's because I pretty much cased it right out of the catalog (pg 12). I did make a couple changes to their design, but not much. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the new treat boxes. You can fit a LOT in there.

The only measurement for this project is the piece of DSP wrapped around the box and it's 4 x 9 1/2.

Here's a list of supplies if you want to replicate this pretty treat box:

I'll be back next Tuesday with the second project for this class. See you then!

Till next time...
