Hello there! I thought it would be fun to pop in here today with a little Throwback Thursday for you.
It's almost a double Throwback Thursday, because not only do we have a retired stamp set, but I replicated it with a current set I haven't used in a LONG time. I made the card on the right several years ago with the, now retired, Love You To Pieces stamp set. I actually designed it for one of my great nephews who loves puzzles. The layout seemed like an easy enough one to replicate with a current stamp set, so I just looked for a set with an outline image that I could stamp multiples of on the card base, and then a filled-in image to be the focal point.
Because my filled-in cookies kind of got lost in the outline cookies on the background, I decided to put them on a die-cut circle to separate them a bit and make them stand out. In the end I think it looks like they are sitting on a plate, which wasn't my original idea, but I like how it came out. I only wish I had shaded the edges of the "plate" a bit with a Blending Brush.
Isn't this a fun sentiment? Hmmm. Now I think I need to go make some cookies. 😋
I hope you have enjoyed today's post. If you decide to place an order through my website, if your order is less than $150, please use the Host Code listed above (on the right), so I can send you an extra free goody. If your order is over $150 don't use the code as you get to pick out the goody yourself when you place your order.
Till next time...
God's love and blessings!
